Vistronix announced that it has acquired a prime position on GSA's Alliant Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). Washington Technology reported that the GWAC was acquired from Tetra Tech which it acquired through its purchase of Advanced Management Technology Inc. in 2004. Alliant Full & Open (there is a Small Business version) is a $50 billion GWAC that enables both civilian and defense agencies to order IT services for a broad range of needs and supports various task-order contract types including fixed price, cost reimbursement, T&M, and labor hours.
The acquisition will allow Vistronix to bid on upcoming task orders under Alliant until April 2019 and position itself for the upcoming Alliant 2 procurement which is expected to come out later this year. Tetra Tech had limited success utilizing Alliant winning only a handful of task orders under the contract vehicle. Deal terms were not disclosed but we're real curious to see what we can find regarding the purchase price in Tetra Tech's next 10-Q. Comments are closed.
