Raytheon Company announced that it has acquired Foreground Security, a cybersecurity-focused firm that provides security operations centers (SOC's), managed security service solutions, and cybersecurity professional services. Foreground's solutions include its Virtual Security Operations Center (V-SOC) and Automated Threat Intelligence Platform (ATIP) which offer advanced cyber monitoring, threat hunting, and professional services capabilities. The business has approximately 165 employees, 85 percent of whom are trained as cybersecurity experts, and will be renamed Raytheon Foreground Security (RFS).
According to the company's press release, "[RFS] accelerates Raytheon's expansion into managed security services across federal, international and commercial markets." Deal terms were not disclosed. Comments are closed.
