Coming on the heels of its acquisition of iSIGHT Partners just a couple of weeks ago, FireEye Inc. announced it has acquired Alexandria, Virginia-based Invotas International Corporation in a deal that closed on February 1, 2016. Invotas provides security automation and orchestration technology that unifies cyber attack detection results, threat intelligence and incident response into a single console enabling quicker response to attacks. The company's solutions are used by clients in markets including finance, government military, energy, healthcare and retail.
David DeWalt, FireEye CEO and Chairman states: "The addition of Invotas' technology enables us to enhance our global threat management platform and advance ongoing efforts to provide our customers with a centralized method to manage alerts and intelligence and then automate actions based on FireEye-built playbooks or their own custom strategies."
